MarKey® EDTA Chelate formulations are a broad range of fully chelated solutions that include single trace elements or combinations to prevent and correct crop mineral deficiencies.
MarKey® Magnesium 2.5% EDTA Chelate fertilizer is recommended to prevent and correct magnesium deficiencies in crops. Soil application is preferred to prevent magnesium deficiencies; however, it may be used as a foliar spray to correct nutrient deficiencies when soil application is impractical.

Nutrient Function
Magnesium is critical for chlorophyll production as it serves as the backbone of the chlorophyll molecule. Magnesium also stimulates enzyme reactions in the plant that help with phosphorus transport. Elevated calcium, potassium and ammonium levels in the soil will reduce magnesium availability for the plant.
