Magnesium sulfate is a dry fertilizer formulated to prevent and correct magnesium and sulfur deficiencies in a wide variety of crops.

• Contains 4.5% magnesium and 5.5% sulfur

Nutrient Function
Magnesium is critical for chlorophyll production as it serves as the backbone of the chlorophyll molecule. Magnesium also stimulates enzyme reactions in the plant that help with phosphorus transport. Elevated calcium, potassium and ammonium levels in the soil will reduce magnesium availability for the plant.

Sulfur is critical for forming plant proteins, amino acids, vitamins and enzymes. Sulfate is the plant-available form of sulfur and can be immediately taken up by plants. When applied via a foliar spray, sulfur can be used for pH correction in the soil and as a fungicide.
